I am an Atheist have been to things like this, as well as Hindu and other cultures. They are indeed fun to experience other cultures because how else will you learn about them? Was I forced to have religion forced on me or indoctrinated? Nope though I had more pressure put on me from Christian ones weirdly.

    3. Man i donno man, this guy personally looks like he’s trying to inadvertently convert a lot of guys.

      Stop distracting me!!!!!

    4. What a wonderful soul. This is the kind of thing that needs to be said louder and by more people.

It’s just insane to me because having lived as a military dependent for a pretty long time, I grew up seeing religious services for a lot of folks, including Islam. Granted they were generally very broad and non-denominational, but we had them. On military bases. On particularly small posts they often had to share the same building. I don’t recall any friction (except maybe during the height of the IRA and security was added to Catholic services because there was a British base pretty close, but looking back that felt performative.)

Freedom of religion is one of the founding principles of the United States. I wish more people would remember that.

Mamdani also got backlash for condemning a pro Hamas rally in NYC.

      People just aren’t bright

I don’t get why people are opposed to just getting more holidays to celebrate.

    8. So this is facepalm because what? A human isn’t a prejudiced moron and just sees another human being, like the vast fucking majority of us?

Learn, be curious about other people. Be human.

Love this but can I tell you your eye game is on point!!! Like love love love your eyes!!

    10. Christian country celebrating Christmas?
Nothing spells inclusive more than mascara!

    11. Everyone that wants the war should go into a room and shoot each other. Everyone that doesn’t want the war aren’t allowed in said room

    12. Majority Muslim countries would throw this guy off a building just for being gay. Suicidal empathy

Outrage for that, but perfectly fine to have a sitting president who is convicted felon, rapist, pedophile that just got us into war and is sacrificing our and our generations future so he can avoid prison and make his family more wealth.

When I heard the quote “The enemy is inside” I nodded in enthusiastic agreement thinking it was talking about Trump administration.

What a reasonable, responsible, and level-headed take.

I feel outraged as I was looking forward to more outrage bait about this.

    16. I’m sorry, but even though it is just an observation I made and I might be wrong, You seem queer…

Do know LGBTQIA+ and large parts of Muslim scholars do not mix, and while Christian scholars might suggest conversion therapy, You will be executed in Iran, and several other muslim countries for being queer.

This is Muslim faith as adhered to by extremists, and they actively seek out LGBTQIA+-members to intimidate and terrorize.

There have been mass executions of gay men… in Iran. Beatings and stonings in other Sharia countries…

And also Jewish? I think stating this and displaying queerness… Yes, the majority will look down upon you…

And most muslims will be all good and fine… and leave ‘judgement to Allah’, but I find you naive nevertheless.

Or is this the facepalm part?

I’m not Jewish, but my religion professor hosted a Seder at his house. It was so much fun and I learned a lot. I’d love to join a Ramadan celebration sometime.

I am not a Muslim, but anyone who has not gone to a feast like this is seriously missing out. There is a warmth, camaraderie and inclusiveness that is out of this world, and I am not even going to mention the food because I want to eat all of it myself selfishly. Told you I am not a Muslim, lol.

It involved FREE FOOD. The only reason anyone would complain is not being invited to it.
