      The last thing I said to my mother was “if there is a hell I’ll laugh at you while we burn together”

      For minimal context I told her I didn’t like Trump and she told everyone I’ve ever met I was possessed by demons

      I grew up during the satanic panic in the 80s and early 90s when this same crowd saw the antichrist in EVERYTHING from D&D to heavy metal music to video games.

      Now, a guy literally fitting almost every description of the antichrist shows up and they pray over him and buy Bibles from him.

      Would a christian not want to pray for the president if they felt he was in the wrong? Doubt anyone in that room genuinely follows the teachings of jesus, but if a christian was in fact a follower of christ and not some pretentious worshiper of false idols, then a prayer would be in order.

      That does assume that Heaven was set up by a benevolent deity. Which, if the Old Testament is any indication, the deity of Abrahamic faiths is not.
