A round bronze pan-zun (cooler and vessel) set, from the tomb of Marquis Yi of Zeng at Leigudun, China. The complex design, featuring intertwined beasts and hornless dragons, was achieved by using the method of lost-wax casting. C.433 BCE, now housed at the Hubei Provincial Museum [1388×3026]

That is some amazing fine detail. Even with lost wax casting, getting all that fine texture filled in, and doing it long before vacuum casting was even a concept, really takes mastery of the technique.
