This gold bracelet of the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Shoshenq IIa (reign ca. 887-885 BCE) is crafted in two hinged sections, and set at its center with a lapis lazuli Mesopotamian cylinder seal dating to the Akkadian Empire (ca. 2300 BCE). Now housed at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo [549×461]

      Did the Egyptians use the oldest seal and new gold to make it or was it handed to shoshenq?
