Incredible work and strikingly lifelike. The faces are nicely done, not blankly neutral, but animated and suggesting some inner states. The clothes are also a big part why it feels so convincing: muted tones, slightly uneven quality you get from natural fibers and hand-dyed pigments. The fabrics seem worn-in rather than brand new and decorative.
