Being a sane person, if you believe you should own a gun, you will also support strict regulation on them, because you understand the responsibility of ownership. They are not toys, despite how much conservatives pretend they are.

I know this is a joke, but I’d bet most liberals who get the point of owning guns either become leftists or fully commit to the right.

“Liberals are for banning guns” is a right wing talking point. Liberals are for gun regulation. What that actually entails varies person to person. We don’t have a fascist dictator telling us what our opinions are.
Republicans make guns their entire personality. Liberals make being anti-gun their entire personality. The ones that own guns are called leftists.
