I understand this post completely, but why don’t you explain it to make sure you understand it. What are they doing now, and what would they be saying or doing if he was unarmed? Define what it neans that they wouldn’t be doing anything. Like would they still say it’s a justified murder?

You can look at Renee Good to see their reaction to murdering an unarmed citizen. In both cases they blame the victim and say ICE agents were the real victim.

Bringing firearms to protests has been pretty on-brand for the right for like the last 10 years. So to see them suddenly be against *that* is wild. Seemed like their interpretation of the 2nd amendment was the only part of the constitution they actually cared about so to see that go right out the window because the guy had “a pistol and two magazines” kinda just goes to show you that these people don’t really stand for anything.

If he was currently unemployed, had a “lower-class” job, gay, female, trans, had a minor criminal history, was wearing all black, skin color slightly darker, last name more ethnic, and so on, they would have latched onto.
The only thing that matters is they looked at him and this time they saw themselves because they couldn’t find any small detail to other him with.
It says clearly “the Right to bear arms” and not “the Left to bear arms”….

If he wasn’t armed, no one would know his name, because he wouldn’t be dead. He would have been detained, roughed up, and probably released, but he would be alive. He’s dead because an untrained dumbass took his gun and accidentally (negligently) fired it while running away, and the other untrained goons responded by mag dumping into him.
I’m not saying people shouldn’t exercise their rights. I’m not saying anything was his fault. This was all on ICE.
I’m just saying they wouldn’t know who he was because he would be alive.
