The anti-abortion organizations fit that meme just as well. They’ve served their real purpose of getting dangerous anti-democratic and anti-constitutional judges placed throughout the justice system, not to stop abortion, but to give power to the already powerful and further enrich the wealthy.

“The NRA was responding to remarks by Bill Essayli, the first assistant U.S. attorney for the Central District of California, who said that “if you approach law enforcement with a gun, there is a high likelihood they will be legally justified in shooting you,” adding, “Don’t do it.” In a statement, the gun‑rights group called that view “dangerous and wrong,” urging public officials to refrain from broad generalizations and to wait for the outcome of a full investigation into Alex Pretti’s death.”
Not saying it’s enough, but it’s a start. They should have a more supportive statement on 2A given who they are. Let’s keep poking them to support our rights (God, i thought I’d never say that about the NRA)

Wrong NRA.
That’s the logo of the National Recovery Administration, an FDR era New Deal program designed to help break up monopolies, price fixing, and eliminate unfair labor practices.
They were dissolved in 1935.
You’re thinking of the National Rifle Association.

Bold of you to assume the NRA cares enough about any of that to stand for any of it.
Make money off it, sure. But thinking the NRA leadership would be invested enough in Trump or his supporters to piss on them if they were on fire, rather than shrug and move on to the next cash source, that’s silly.
This is well known. They got their own fascist channel on Roku like 7 years back spewing Russian propaganda. TIL The Reddit population is mostly comprised of people just waking up to reality.

The NRA didn’t care when Daniel Shaver was murdered. The NRA didn’t care when Philando Castillo was murdered. Fuck the NRA.

Props for not using a fully displayed Nazi flag. My mom hit the age where she is now obsessed with WW2 documentaries. And I gotta say at times it feels like they are celebrating they can show all that Nazi crap because “it’s educational”

Under every KKK hood, there’s a Proud Boy mask. Behind that, there’s a Gravy Seal cosplaying as law enforcement.

I’m no fan of the NRA, but it doesn’t look like they’re kneejerk following the fascists here: https://x.com/nra/status/2015227627464728661?s=46
