The NRA was not founded to resist tyranny.
The NRA was founded to legitimize white people shooting black people without any reasons.
That’s why the NRA has never promoted black people owning guns.

NRA was proved to be nothing more then a money laundering front between Russia and Republican politicians who supported it. “Donations” to the NRA can be seen coming from abroad, then NRA would paying lobbying money to those in government. Promoting gun violence thru the 2A was just the cherry on top.
