    1. Don’t worry, Schumer and Jeffries will send a strongly worded letter that won’t be read. We need a true opposition party and stat.

    2. Oh no! We didn’t bother to vote for democrats and now they’re not stopping the people we couldn’t be bothered to vote against!

The New Yorker doesn’t always post its political cartoons. Why post this one in particular?

    3. Are the democrats who voted to increase ICE funding doing nothing to stop it, or actively making the problem worse? Are you really going to try and tell me that the 75 billion dollar supplement that ICE received last year, couldn’t be used for body cams, and that taxpayers had to give them more money to get them? Is there even a guarantee that any of the increased funding will actually go to that?

You might not like the political cartoon, but a lot of people share that sentiment, and it’s because actions speak louder than words.

    4. Can we watch the coverage of the politicians giving speeches against it who will treat every crossed line and overreach of government authority as just the way things have always been done once they get back in power?

    5. And neither do American citizens except for a very small amount of brave people. For the most part, Americans are sitting idly by watching their country being changed drastically in front of their eyes, and the whole world will suffer for it.

      American? More like American’t

    6. It’s nice to see more people coming the realization that Democrats are controlled opposition. It was glaringly obvious to those of us paying attention when nobody was prosecuted for the Iraq invasion or for the 08 financial collapse.

    7. All y’all attacking democrats are dumb as hell. Please go the fuck away, you russian nerds.

    8. Ah yes, who do we blame when the country voted Democrats out of power entirely, and gave all the power to Republicans?

      The Democrats of course!

Are the Democrats doing something bad? What are the Democrats going to do about it?

But also, are the Republicans doing something bad? Surprisingly also, what are the Democrats going to do about it?

Why don’t we ever hold Republicans responsible for the actions of Republicans?

    9. Great call New Yorker. Blaming the democrats for things is exactly the same as Trump pointing at problems and saying “oh, it’s not me… it’s Biden!!!”

Blame the ones in charge you morons.

    10. Some charlatan has stolen a Ziggy and passed it off as their own! Quick OP, to my archives!

    11. IngloriousMustards on

Once again these two things that are nowhere equal.

Next time someone wants democrats to come and save them, maybe – I dunno – *vote* them that power first?
