    1. Both look like they are distinctly lacking any seasoning and tomato is the most appealing thing on either plate

    2. Oo equating English style breakfast with UK style is a poor choice OP

      Scottish and Irish breakfast are very different from English breakfast.

    3. I’d do steak instead of black pudding and grits instead of beans but I’ve always thought that getting stoned and eating a 1,200 calorie breakfast for an hour with a pot of coffee seems very relaxing

    4. I don’t think anyone is knocking the full English. In fact that’s like the one British food people are universally down for.

    5. I will never understand the tomato, but baked beans are surprisingly good for breakfast.

    7. Yanks should absolutely try the Scottish variant of this – no tomatoes, but add haggis(obviously), square sausage, potato scone (more like a potato pancake than a scone) and some mushrooms if that’s your bag. Extra soft morning roll, too
