I’m sure the cooler-head types and big-tent leftists will say things like “we can’t be *more* divisive”, or “we need them back on the correct side to move forward” etc etc – but I just can’t and won’t. If you’re in my circle and have ever told me of your Trump votes/support at any point, you’re still going to be just as intellectually and morally compromised in 2065 as you are right now, as far as I’m concerned. There’s just nothing they can do or say to re-earn respect, flat out.
