Trump and his handlers don’t seem to have a grasp on what year it is. WW3 would be nothing like WW 2, he’s not going to be watching it on TV and our country would be a actual target not to mention our bases abroad. That white house bunker had better be strong.

Anyone else livid that the Supreme Court allows the corruption that will only lead to more death and destruction, Maga congress have decided to abdicate their responsibility to safeguard the people from these constitutional violations.

    3. I wonder if I can claim Indian citizenship through my grandparents if I need to flee the country…

Nope. But they’ll contort themselves to find some obscure rationale to defend it. Cowards, the whole lot of them.

    5. At this point I feel like half of the democrats in congress would just go along with it.

    6. As a fan of Tommy Boy and Chris Farley, we can *absolutely* do better than this still as a contextual background for this.

      For example:

    7. They would rather die believing the lie the that were right than admitting they were wrong.

    8. On January 6th, let’s not forget that they wanted to kill Mike pence.

I saw Mike pence on a morning show today, still boot licking billionaires balls and still supporting Donald Trump and all the republicans.

Attempted murder is not enough to break the stronghold of the cult.

      They will not. Fucking cowards.

If we survive this, Republicans can never be allowed near the levers of power again.

    10. A couple days ago a federal judge wrote that the president was behaving as an authoritarian, and he and the Cabinet were “conspiring to infringe” on the right to free speech. Excerpt below. [Gift article here.](https://www.nytimes.com/2026/01/15/us/politics/student-protester-deportations-trump-khalil.html?unlocked_article_code=1.FVA.T01I.7yI2n3Xi1RwG&smid=nytcore-ios-share)

“Judge Young said Mr. Trump was failing to follow the Constitution. And he accused Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem of “conspiring to infringe” on the rights of noncitizen students.

“Talking straight here, the big problem in this case is that the cabinet secretaries and, ostensibly, the president of the United States are not honoring the First Amendment,” he said.”

He’s so afraid of what’s on Epstein files that he prefers to burn the world, what a pussy

    12. Denmark’s foreign minister said there is no way the US could fund Greenland’s extensive welfare system. They have universal health care and education. Greenlanders do not want to give up those benefits.

    13. History books in the future will probably say, “Not many people could have predicted…” and “a small vocal minority opposed…”

Like all this was inevitable and we haven’t been screaming in the streets we didn’t want this

He keeps pushing Greenland and very few people on the right know what to make of it. With Venezuela they had years of talking about immigrant invasion, drugs, socialism and even “we helped develop their oil industry so their oil is ours”

With Greenland it’s “we need it for defense” and “it’s in our hemisphere.”

Pretty soon that’s going to memeify down to “living space” and when people point out that’s what the Nazis said to invade Poland, the cognitive dissonance will make them spew a bunch of hate speech.

One thing a lot of media fails to capture about Nazis is how miserable it must be to be a Nazi, hating everyone else because you can’t understand you really hate yourself

    15. Ifthisdaywasafish on

Nope they are as brain damaged as he is. Especially the last two Trump appointees.

    16. popcorngirl000 on

My prediction: If Trump gives the order to invade Greenland, the military will slow walk executing the order and back-channel for help to top members of Congress. Every influential Republican and Democrat will lean on Trump to resign immediately, because otherwise he will face the fastest impeachment trial in US history. Trump WILL agree to resign, but only in exchange for a full pardon for everything he’s ever done. Trump gets his pardon, Vance reverses the invasion order, and everyone in power in America will deny for the rest of their lives that Trump ever issued such an order, because it is, of course, absurd that America would attack an allied nation. Trump, who will officially have resigned “for his health and to spend time with his family,” will live out his days at Mar-a-Lago, consequence-free. The world will breath a sigh of relief that Trump is out of office. America will continue to trend fascist (just a bit slower) because none of these assholes will be held accountable.
