    1. Nobody wants to work on it because of the legend that it comes to life and eats a person every ten years

I’m only half joking. Somebody did die

    2. Last time I was on that ride, for some reason it wasnt rotating rooms and we had to listen to the same part 3 times. I dont believe it was anything mechanical going on that prevented movement. The good thing was the AC worked well in there

They could update it. But you know a very vocal minority is gonna raise a huge stink about it like they do with any other changes made in the parks.

    4. being insane. I firmly believe it should be restored to its original configuration when it lacked the “modern day” scene. its a perfect encapsulation of the American Century otherwise.

I think they should fix it up but instead of updating it they should just try to wow people with wildly outdated technology. I’d rather see an exhibit with a bunch of 40 year old technology than an AI chatbot pretending to be a Disney character.

The mechanism is so old, if a thing would be changed, a problem somewhere else would come up, wich would eventually buttefly effect everything to be renewed or replaced.

So, they basicly let it run in hope that nothing major breaks and would cause a full replacement.

Disney is cheap here and want to avoid upsetting disney adults.
