The Nobel committee actually had to comment on this and they said you can’t just transfer it. That’s not how it works.
The Nobel Peace Prize Committee clarified that the award, once given, **cannot be revoked, shared, or transferred**, responding to 2025 winner María Corina Machado’s suggestion she would give her prize to Donald Trump. The Committee stated, “The decision is final and stands for all time,” explaining that while Machado was awarded for promoting democracy in Venezuela, the prize itself is personal to the recipient and cannot be passed to someone else, like Trump, despite his role in capturing Venezuelan President Maduro.
I hope the Nobel committee strips her of it – she clearly wasn’t worthy of it if she’s trying to use it as a bargaining chip

It means nothing. The medal is a symbol, a reminder or a souvenir of the occasion that a respected body of people showed respect and admiration for your work or deeds. Only trump thinks that the medal is the important thing. The fact that that body of people don’t respect or admire him is irrelevant. He has the trophy. It’s like finding a middle school tennis trophy at the good will store and taking it and claiming it’s yours. It’s childish and quite frankly, sad.
You can buy OJ Simpson’s Heisman Trophy on Ebay. Doesn’t make you a world class running back. Or wife killer. Oh wait.
