If I recall correctly black men experience higher rates of sexual harassment and assault than their white male counterparts. So yes, it happens.
zulu_crash on
Kind of yeah, but not directly in the workplace. Happened to me at a work event at a bar. What made it awkward was that my girlfriend (now wife) was with me, when my coworker (f, drunk) hugged me up and squeezed both cheeks. Fortunately gf didn’t see.

Absolutely. Statistically has happened many times.
When working at a tubing place collecting and giving them out a girl grabbed my American flag bathing suit by the crotch – she was a patron though

Probably, yes. I couldn’t speak to statistics, but knowing humanity? Very possible.

What kind of headline is that ? “Has this scenario ever happened?”
Yes. It does happen. Does she thinks man cannot be harassed ?!

To be honest, something like that (let’s just say, a little worse) happened to me when I was 16 or 17. But, shit, I got over it! It was no big thing! Right?

This actually happened to me when I was in the Army. Army women can be kinda aggressive.

Fuck you OP. I’ve been groped against my will several times, and I’ve had two women try to rape me.
Edit: yo my bad OP, I didn’t realizing that you were facepalming the person who posted this originally. I thought this was a “meme” and it pissed me off a little!

Yes, happened to me and cost me a job since she went feral when I rejected her and poisoned the workplace

Pretty sure it does happen. Being an abuser has no gender. So while it happens more often with a man harassing a woman, it does not erase women on men harassment (or men on men, or women on women).

I once went on a date with a girl and we got drunk and went back to my place and passed out. I woke up to her riding me, sounds cool right, she didn’t put a condom on she was not on the pill.

I have an irrational fear of British women in the military. Was I bullied or sexually harassed by a British woman in the military? No. I said it was irrational.

My experience is that women are more subtle, but I have definitely had females come on to me pretty aggressively in the workplace. This happened when I worked as a mechanic at an airline. This has not happened in an office setting.

I was groped on a train while in line exiting. When I turned around 3 women stood there staring at me. They didn’t appear to know each other so my guess is that the two other women were surprised while the other was faking. I couldn’t tell who did it. I just know at that moment I felt my private space was violated.

I’m a guy, and yes, these things happen sometimes. It’s just nothing compared to the rate women have to deal with this shit.
We don’t have to pretend it doesn’t happen to men, but don’t use it do downplay what women have to deal with.

There’s a movie called Horrible Bosses, and one of the bosses is horrible because they sexually harass their employee.

Ive had it happen a few times and its very uncomfortable. As a man, no one takes you seriously when you “complain” about this stuff. Ive been touched before and laughed at because as a guy “You know you enjoy any touch from a woman”. It only served to make me shut my mouth the next time it happened and keep things to myself.

Yes. I was at a small college party and went to grab a beer from the fridge. As I’m closing the door I noticed a girl had followed me into the kitchen. It shocked me, so I ended up backing up to the wall behind me. She proceeded to step forward and put both of her hands on the wall on either side of me, similar to what’s pictured. I was deeply uncomfortable and I asked her to back away, but she kept trying to get me to kiss her. I had known this girl for at least a year, and she knew I had been in a committed relationship for almost four years at that point.
The only way I was able to get her to stop was to start not-quite-shouting “I NEED AN ADULT.” I brushed it off at the time, but I realized years later that it was actually a big fucking problem. So yes, this shit happens and it needs to be called out.

Yes it happens and if women would be the physical stronger gender there would be more physical rapes

It happened to me when I was a teen working at a grocery store. There was a girl in my workplace. Apparently she was in to me and was from a well to do type of family… not used to hearing no. I am not sure what she saw in me, because I am less than attractive, but I did not find her attractive. When I rebuffed her advances, she became angry and aggressive. Like she was entitled to me, It wasn’t pretty. But it was the 90’s, so nothing came of it.

Once worked at a Twin Peaks as a bar back. The more promiscuous and tenured bartenders wouldn’t hesitate to grab what they wanted. But it wasn’t like I could go to management about that and be taken seriously. The particular girl had all the pull there.

Ab so lut ley, especially in the military women are placed in higher ranks them males because there are clear routes of advancement regardless of gender so you have power systems where it’s almost as likely statistically per the ratio of male and female, as a female to be in a powerful position over a man than it is a male over a female. But This can happen in any workplace. Men turn down women’s advancements all the time, so in a workplace there is often a power system which would pose a hardship on the male in these type of situations.

Yes. This isn’t a fucking joke.
In fact, it happened to me (male)…. and while I was in training back in my early days in the Army.
There was this fellow Soldier (female) who had a crush on me but I didn’t feel the same way. One day while cleaning, she pushed me up against the wall and tried to kiss me. I put up my hands, just like this guy did and told her to stop. That’s when a Drill Sergeant showed up. We both got yelled at and had to report to the Sr Drill Sergeant’s office. I explained how I didn’t consent and was trying to push her off.
I didn’t get in trouble but it’s still a situation I would rather have not had. I also know I was lucky. Many other Soldiers weren’t.
Now you know why we have to go through Sexual Harassment and equal Opportunity training each and every year.

Happened to me in highschool. This girl Brooke was considered an order of magnitude out of my league and decided I was a “safe” target to flirt with. I wasn’t interested because I could tell I was being made fun of, and it kept escalating.
