Well when them dem’s gave in i knew Johnson wasn’t going to let them vote on it. When will they stop believing their bullshit.

In the topic of the lie, the house never pledged to take a vote. Only the senate did. And this outcome was the most likely. So people suffer. And joe Biden will get the blame somehow?

    3. wow I am shocked that the GOP lied to stop the shutdown…who could have ever seen that coming /s

    4. Ironically, the reason he is not calling for a vote is because a subsidy extension would likely pass in the House. Democrats want to extend, so it would only take 4 Republican votes to pass.

    5. Good thing they agreed on that to open up the government and get their private planes running safely. Fuck the GOP.

    6. I shame the dems that allowed this to happen. They gave up all the cards and now will be like we tried

      VOTING MATTERED!

90 million people including those whose affordable health act subsidies that WILL expire, FAILED to vote.

      Everyone was WARNED!

      Oh well and good luck!

    8. The house never said they would hold a vote. That was the senate. Senate Dems were too stupid to see this exact outcome when they caved and sold out.

The Democrat leadership gave up the only bargaining chip they had with the shutdown for a “possibly consideration of maybe extending the subsidies so millions won’t die”. What a damn joke

They said they would rip obama care out by the roots. It’s about Obama and how bad Trump hates him.

My maga Congress punk is polling for healthcare. He is a total trumper. He is scared of losing next year. Johnson just guaranteed it.

    12. So much dems hoping MAGAt’s would work in good faith after reopening government.

This is why the democrats should never have folded. Thune would have never agreed to a vote in the Senate unless he knew, for sure, that Johnson would not bring it to the floor in the House. Honestly, even if both had promised to do so, their word counts for nothing.

Didn’t he say that they would have a vote on this in December when they reopened the government? Surely he didn’t BS back then. 🙄

    15. Wow i am shocked. I thought for sure this time Lucy was going to let Charlie Brown kick that football.

    16. Just dump it. If the subsidies were somehow saved all these morons would pull the lever for republicans anyway. It’s going to hurt a lot of people but voters just don’t get nuance anymore. It was a band aid solution that was sabotaged and made shittier at every turn by republicans.

    17. I’m sorry I’m saying this but I’m glad this is happening. I feel extremely awful for everyone this is going to affect but this country needs to go to shit so the stupid, racists, cruel mfers that voted for republican affects them in a horrible way

    18. Oh the thing we gave up all shutdown leverage and hope for, happened again. That thing where they promise and never follow through? Again and again?

Ever see a bunch of pissed off ppl in large groups? Make them hungry and take away their healthcare.

Even the French ppl are better at handling political things faster than the US.
