The black one looks like one of Christopher Robin’s shoes, but only for girls.
At some point between the creation of Pooh and this ad, they must’ve fallen out of fashion for boys.
Come to think of it, I’ve only ever seen girls wear these, even in old pictures.

I was a little girl in the ’70s and my mom and I shopped at Sears. I had a white leather belt with a Winnie the Pooh buckle that I absolutely loved. I don’t remember these Mary Jane shoes though.
