Yeah you need a title to explain whether or not you’re being racist.
But assuming you are, for children from poorer families, becoming a professional athlete might be their only way of increasing their wealth, which is why they must go for it 110%. While for children from richer families, they might do sport on the side but ultimately choose study over sport.
The second layer being that wealth equals a good education, which it shouldn’t.
