    1. I’d love to say you’re wrong, I’d love to say 60 million shitheads went and voted for the clown in the big hat, but truth be told, the GOP has been scrounging around since the “salad days” of Ronald Reagan for some idiot that can put at 1600 Pennsylvania allowing a parade of degenerate fuck-abouts, whether it was stock and trade Military-Industrial guys in the 1990’s , or it was foreign intelligence agencies embedding themselves into the “stovepipeing” operations in the Iranian Directorate, or the nativists who wanted to turn the Presidency into an elected Emperor but with characters like Sarah Palin or George W. Bush whatever their other failings they could at least get elected and string sentences together (although imperfectly).

Trump was a rejection of normalcy – we elected a clown, a murderous , fascist clown , and 60 million people weren’t entirely stupid , they were hateful and found a media culture that promotes and encourages public displays of assholery and a fascist take on everything and being ferociously ignorant and militantly proud of it – even now, those 60 million people are the real decay , the festering rot of our democracy.

It’s possible to fix that, no doubt millions of farmers finding billion dollar bailouts 10 cents on the dollar of what they would have made will probably send thousands if not tens of thousands of them into a financial tailspin where firms owned and operated by billion-dollar corporations will be happy to snap up for pennies on the dollar. It seems even when doling out socialism – it’s not nearly enough to do anything but provide a morsel families need to do the paperwork to sell their farms from generation ago.

That’s not an accident. nor is the LLM onslaught on the upper echelons of the middle class – a moneyed group of engineers and and scientists and the “administrative/managerial” class that will be automated out of existence as soon as the capital investment budgets allow for it.

The end result is a middle-class attacked on three ends , but farm workers evacuated or literally hunted down , farmers being shafted with “tariff” deals, means that we see at the national level exactly what happened in Georgia [8 or 9 years ago](https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2023/aug/29/peach-harvest-southern-united-states-farming). The [peach production](https://ifruittree.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Chalmers-Carr-IFTA-Presentation-2025.pdf) (to pick one labor intensive commodity) is challenged by the situation, in the case of farmers – it’s a rough few years under Trumpy type policies.

Couldn’t have made him look more absurd if they were trying. Dukakis looked downright dignified in his tanker helmet compared with this moron.
