Gotta love all of the struggling single dads in movies quieting their jobs so they can show up at their son’s big game or stand up against their evil boss for the sake of their son. But coincidentally the movie ends before the struggling single dad realises that he no longer has a source of income and is still struggling, but hey it’s the thought that counts.

bruh i remember when i walked out n my assistant manager job at walmart because of certain drama with the manager and me. dont mix business and pleasure.
and i spent the next month going from interview to interview one day i had 3 interviews one after the other and even was considering joining the military as an officer, till one company gave me a chance.
there is no worse feeling in life, than wanting a work, being willing to work but everyone is trying to take advantage of u or wont give u a chance

At this point someone could be like “you tear out a nail a day and we pay you $150 a day”and I’d take it

The best way I quit a job (I had one lined up). I was on a PIP and it was a Monday and I came in early like an hour to do my weekly report. I finish that up, write my resignation email quitting effective immediately, leave my computer and card on my desk.
I came in my sweats and a hoodie cause I had my ski gear I brought in my car and drove up to the mountain after I quit in the morning. Fucking epic day of shredding the mountain lol

irl version: you hand in your two-week notice and spend both weeks training your replacement while HR “loses” your PTO payout. Sad reality

I had a temp job once that at the end of I knew I was leaving that town and never looking back. I quit a week early with no notice and, as odd as it sounds, it was one of the most empowering feelings I’ve ever had.

If you ever want a movie to remind you to look for another job BEFORE you quit your current job watch falling down.
It’s obviously exaggerated and made extreme for the sake of cinema but it’s a great example of any person especially with mental health issues combined with stress, lack of hope, and one astronomically bad series of events.
Also because someone always feels like mentioning it I’m just going to go ahead and state for the record his wife clearly says he never hit her or his daughter. He had anger issues but only yelled which still isn’t ideal but not as bad as a lot of people assume. The restraining order was something the judge recommended to make an example of him. The point wasn’t for him to be evil or good he is just supposed to be a guy that could be anyone on the tail end of an especially bad series of events.
