I must say that I mean all condolences and respect to everyone who perished across all of these disasters and I don't want the meme or the title to give off the wrong feeling. I'll also provide context in the comments for each of these in relation to Nova Scotia.

Ok here’s the context, I’ll make a reply to this for links to sources for some of these.

      * The Halifax explosion was where the S.S Imo and S.S Mont-Blanc collided in Halifax’s harbor channel, the Mont-Blanc had a bunch of munitions and explosive chemicals which reacted to fire and trigged the explosion, killing about 1800-2000 people.
      * The S.S Atlantic disaster was where the ship collided with rocky shores in Nova Scotia in 1873, turning over towards it side amidst the stormy weather and killing about 550 people, mainly the women and children aboard.
      * Titanic’s victim cemetery is in Halifax and after the disaster the city was the center for the main recovery and relief efforts.
      * H.M.S Tribune was a French-built but British captured frigate that wrecked in 1797 off of Herring Cove in N.S, killing 228 out of its 240 crew.
      * S.S Hungarian was a Canadian ocean liner which wrecked near Cape Sable, N.S in 1860 and all 205 people aboard died from the immediate wreckage or the elements around them.
      * S.S Indian was part of the same company as the Hungarian (The Allen Line) and it struck with rocks below it and took on water amidst stormy weather in 1859. Looters came to the ship after and the disaster is almost forgotten nowadays.

    2. Pretty impressive Halifax is still the largest city and the economic centre of Atlantic Canada, and an overall well developed prosperous city, even though the 1917 explosion was basically a nuke dropped on top of it.
