A photo taken of Dr. Oskar Dirlewanger shortly before he was sent to a concentration camp for child molestation. Dirlewanger was later freed due to his Nazi Party connections and placed in charge of a Waffen-SS unit composed mainly of convicted murderers and rapists (Germany, 1934) [640 x 881].

    1. Genuinely the most evil person of the entire war, rivaled only by Otto Moll. I’d say Dirlewanger was worse since Moll was legitimately mentally ill and his actions can partly be explained by brain damage.

It’s good to learn Nazis of all eras protect child molesters…. Still waiting on those Epstein files

    3. There’s been many awful people throughout history, but Oskar Dirlewanger is quite special even among those most atrocious scumbags.

Fought in three wars (WW1, Spanish Civil War and WW2), injured in battle 12 times and fought on the frontlines with a division with a notoriously high attrition rate on the *Eastern Front*.. yet still survived the war.

Truly the cockroach of humanity.. although I’m curious how his brain would have looked before and after WW1 given he was viewed to be a exemplary officer then suddenly sunk into alcoholic depravity once the war ended.
