You can’t let the turkey grow much bigger; it needs to fit in a roasting dish. And that baby is giving me creepy turkey vibes.

Ethical Veganism has some strong arguments in its favor but I continue to tell Vegans that their aggressive approach of demonizing meat eaters will only have the opposite effect.
They should continue to present rational argumentation and start by addressing what both groups agree upon: systematically torturing animals in factory farms is wrong.
Address that and then, maybe, people will come around in the future to ditching meat.

At this point, i believe PETA was actually founded by the meat industry to use as reverse psychology to make people hate vegans.

I think peta it’s crazy in that a lot of us can get behind their message but the way they go about it is unsympathetic.
To the point that I wonder if they’re funded by pro meat lobbyists just turn people off their message

AI is gonna only make them look worse! If they wanted to do something meaningful they should look into the trend of people tattooing and giving piercings to their dogs now THAT’S maltreatment

Let’s not kid ourselves – no family of 12 would be well-fed with a baby turkey. You need a grown specimen with a decent amount of meat on its bones.

Your title implies they ever had it in the first place. These guys are genuinely insane. (PETA specifically, not Vegans, just to be clear.)

PETA is not a demonstrable force for good for animal welfare or the perception of animal rights movements Any level of scrutiny to what they spend their time doing supports that.

Most animals people eat are still in their unmatured stage. People just dont care. Only when they get called out do they start to defend themselves as if they are the victims in all of this.

Is there anyone that actually gives a fuck about anything PETA says?
They may have had a legitimate message at one point, but they destroyed that and now they are just a fucking joke.
If there’s any organization on the planet that needs a leadership reset, it’s PETA.
I think I might actually agree with their core principles, but they constantly find a way to alienate everyone that might consider joining their side.
Left, right, whatever… everyone hates PETA.

I am a huge believer and supporter of animal welfare. However PETA are just beyond crazy with some (if not most) of their statements.
People eat meat, humans are biologically designed for it and need it to be the healthiest they can be. So come out with the beyond stupid shit they say just puts people off side straight away.
Torturing animals pre-butchering or killing just for pleasure and or fun is not on. So ensuring any animals breed for consumption are given the best life possible and much like indigenous people of old are thanked for the sacrifice they make to provide sustainence for us should be followed.
