It’s honestly kind of funny how embarrassingly long it took me to learn that satellites can in fact view things from the side and you’re not limited to a strictly straight down POV. I blame it Google maps

Personally, a major way I judge a photograph is based on how easy it is to reproduce. There are many other factors, but reproducibility is a major one.
While the photo can be reproduced, there are so few people who have access to the equipment to be able to do it.
Long way of saying that beyond it being interesting, it is great photography.
