This isn’t an “anti-gun” post, it’s a satirical observation of the victim mentality a lot of pro-gun and 2A absolutists have whenever gun control is mentioned. They refuse to have an honest discussion and instead play victim accusing everyone else of being anti-constitution or wanting to “disarm law abiding citizens”. False. The idea of gun control is to make sure that the people who shouldn’t have guns can’t get guns. There absolutely ARE people who should not have access to firearms and to believe otherwise is insanity and stupidity. “Gun control” means to “control” access of firearms to make sure the wrong people (such as violent criminals, domestic abusers, or mentally ill people) can’t get them. It does NOT mean “take everyone’s gun away”, but gun worshippers refuse to acknowledge that and instead choose to argue extremes.

Main problem imo is that right now there’s nothing we can do to remove guns from MAGA’s and ICE. So we can either get armed, or stay unarmed and try to face oppression at a disadvantage.

Depends on what gun control you are talking about. A lot of times it’s just banning guns based on arbitrary features, which is basically pointless.
Good gun control involves things like a FOID card or closing loopholes.
