I text because I cannot emotionally handle phone calls yet somehow people still think calling back is acceptable behavior today

i really don’t find it annoying, if they call me ( psychologically its better communication and you actually feel close, also get the idea if the other person is doing well, is fine or not ).
if you’re in a busy zone ( your phone will obv be on silent mode and you can always tell them “can’t attend calls rn so reply in msg only” ).

I prefer it, actually, if it’s something that needs more explanation. It’s better than pingponging back and forth, but it has to be for something in the moment. It’s not something that can wait.
