    1. The correct answer should be…

      ‘I hope so!’

And let the morons panic until FOX, OAN, and NewsMax have to publish a ‘Fact Check’s of their own.

    2. Really getting tired of people posting this the last couple days. Calling 0-9 ‘Arabic Numerals’ is like calling Native Americans ‘Indians’ because somebody thought they were in India. It’s like blaming the “Spanish Flu” on Spain just because they were honest enough to report it though it actually originated in America. They’re called misnomers. The decimal system was created in what’s now India. Europeans learned it from Arabs who learned it from India–the Spanish created their own symbols which is what we use today. Just because Europeans learned the system from Arab scholars doesn’t make the symbols or the system “Arabic numerals,” because they’re neither Arabic nor originated there.

    3. I won’t get upset at people not knowing a thing. In most instances, it’d just be fun trivia.

But I would get upset at somebody just seeing the joke, not knowing what arabic numbers are, refusing to google it, and instead choosing to get upset because of what is likely just racism.

    4. What’s most troubling about this is the claim that so and so is using Arabic numerals gets trotted out every time there is a Muslim political figure or even just a brown person that they can paint as Muslim. Never mind the fact that being Arab is not the same as being Muslim.

What pisses me off is this smear is so overdone, tired, and boring, everyone should know that we use Arabic numerals. Most of the world uses them!
