And this is a win by the way, the point of Prop 50 was that what Texas was doing was unfair. Both states could have gerrymandering, or neither. Proud of the people for voting and proud of the system for rejecting Texas.

I can easily imagine a world where Gavin dusts his hands off, calls it a job well done, and then SCOTUS takes up the case and says the Texas gerrymander is fine, and then California (and the country) is SOL.
