I would love to sit in this class in blissful ignorance.

Basically he explained what is quantum mechanics in a simple introduction

Yep. Quantum is counter-intuitive and sounds insane.. but it still actually works in real life.
So we have to learn it to make all those nifty machines that do what we want them to do.

I honestly tried to understand quantum mechanics and my brain went on strike.
Somehow it has to make sense.
But we don’t know how yet.

I love this so much! Removing the pressure, showing how everyone is connected and in it together. What a great professor.

I fell asleep a couple of nights ago watching something on Prime and when I woke up there was a show about quantum mechanics playing. I watched for a while trying to fall back to sleep, and while I understood the words the guy was saying I have no idea what he was saying.

I would be so enthralled during that class.

Just yesterday I was in a cafeteria at the university I teach at (I teach music) and someone a table over was explaining quantum mechanics to a couple peers, and I totally didn’t get it. Do I have to take the class now?

There is a 24 video course from him about quantum mechanics on YouTube if you want to also not understand it.
I understand that we are not going to understand. It’s easy to understand.

Reminds me of my business calc professor who knew it was tough so he waited for 1/3 of the class to drop out after the first test and told us that anyone who was still there and trying was getting at least a B
