Does debt even matter at this point? I believe we’re between $38 and $40 trillion in debt. We will never pay it off. It feels sort of like a homeless guy with a credit card. Whether he spends $1000 or $15,000, he’s not paying it back, so might as well buy some premium camping gear, a generator, a computer a motorcycle and go moving from city to city.
