First he does something extremely idiotic, then he withdraws in his signature TACO fashion, with a result that all his loyal little lackeys are cheering.

    1. So if reducing tariffs *lowers* prices, what then did adding them do?

I’d like MAGA to ELI5 for me on this one.

If only I could be forewarned of these actions to buy and sell my capital interests to profit from my intentional crashing and “saving” of the economy.

Worse than that… in some cases he created the policy, has since come back complaining about the policy, and at best may get us back to neutral if he successfully changes it.

The new USMCA, replacement for NAFTA trade agreement with Mexico/Canada being the obvious example.

He signed it in 2020 and told us what a stupendous agreement it was and only he could have made it happen.

Then in 2025 he asked “Who would sign a thing like this?” And called the agreement “unfair.”

He’s not just terrible at governing, he’s also a stonecold moron.

    5. What a crock of shit. If he were truly going “ALL-IN on affordability”, why isn’t he dropping ALL OF THE TARIFFS?

Only dropping three of them is going SOME-IN on affordability.

It’s like slapping a kid and then giving them candy—confusing but somehow still celebrated.

It’s worth remembering he’s preying on the fact the rich benefit, and the poor majority don’t understand how the economy works and fall for his short term policy changes.

It’s why it’s worth sometimes reminding MAGA maniacs what the tricks are, because this is going to be in the GOP playbook from now on.
