However; there is not a way I reasonably can forgive the same woman who has engaged in Holocaust denialism, referring to the Parkland and Sandy Hook shootings as “false flag ops”, called for the assassination of another sitting legislator (Nancy Pelosi). Comments that more likely than not referred to Pope Francis’ passing as “Evil being defeated as Good triumphed”, rough and certainly off-base paraphrasing mine. Point being, she’s still categorically insane and unfit for office.
Forgiveness would require honest, restorative work, policies going forward that provide for the people in her district and uplifts the less fortunate, and serious contrition. I do not believe at this time she is willing to do this, but I never say never, either.
