the next problem for trump is if there is damning evidence in what they release… on anyone…. left or right….. why have they done nothing so far? If there is a coverup , it will fall apart, they always do.

Trump absolutely can’t handle looking weak. There’s a strong possibility of a veto-proof majority voting to release the files. Now that he’s telling them to release them, he can claim it was his idea all along, rather than looking like he’s not in charge
