I’d drop a bag in the cart, not paying for it and when/if confronted, show them the picture of their own pricing they display…
They basically have to give it to you because it’s their own “promotion” advertised in store on the shelf…

This isn’t unheard of. My local grocery store typically has a free item or two every time I go shopping. You just have to be signed up for their loyalty rewards.
