I can imagine there were a lot of coaches back then who wished they could have turned back the dial a bit to recruit him more seriously than they did before. A guy of his talent level should not have ended up at a mid-major school.

My brother played against him when he was at Santa Clara. I remember him telling me that he was going to be a star in the NBA.
