    1. Kurt Eisner was the Minister President of the People’s State of Bavaria, a short-lived socialist republic. During this time Hitler was elected as the second representative of his army company, receiving 19 votes, while Johann Blüml received 39 votes and became the first representative. Hitler also served as a representative in the soviet-style army council during the short-lived Bavarian Soviet Republic.

After the fall of Bavarian Soviet Republic nd reintegration of Bavaria into Weimar republic, Hitler was recruited by Karl Mayr and became an informer for the army in June 1919.

    2. It’s always so weird to see him before the Nazi party emerges— to think there was a time where he was in a studio painting, or just, I don’t know—but to know what he would eventually do in 20 years—it’s kind of hard to explain it.
