As someone who loved Violet evergarden, watched the whole series and then watched this movie last(which is chronological order). FUCK this movie, what a stupid fucking ending. You remember all of that character development, trauma she worked to overcome, feelings she struggled to process and understand? Yeah fuck all that and throw it out the window, turns out nothing changed. So stupid, this ending was a betrayal of the entire rest of the series.
