Not necessarily – hear me out – the shutdown could go on forever, starving people, federal employees NOT getting paid, the general economy getting worse, people losing housing, etc.
With the Dem Senators’ action:
* The House now has to vote on it (which will probably fail, actually)
* Adelita Grijalva must be sworn in
* The House will vote on the Epstein files
* We will get closer to the day that trump is cooked
* We will get closer to a stable economy with reliable SNAP and ACA
It’s the lesser of two evils but this might be the steps that gives us the opportunity to get rid of trump.
The best solution would be for this country to actually take care of people in need, but as long as trump is a stain on our history – it won’t. He’s still trying – today – to stop the SNAP payments.

Sad thing is the Dems had a very successful 2 years in control of Congress/presidency in 2021-2022. They’re just the most incompetent messengers in the world + the press loves nothing more than carrying water for the gop
