    1. Quick! It’s good strategy to go all out scattershot at the entire democratic party over this!

I’m saying that you, OP, are Shane Stant.

    2. The GOP Senators weren’t voting for what you wanted. They were happy to have the Government shut down. It’s what their base vote for and believe in. And Trump magically found money for what the GOP wanted to fund anyway.

Extending the shutdown wasn’t earning anything for the Left.

    3. Please for the love of God give me ranked choice voting and we can break this cycle of ineptitude at least a little.

    4. I called their offices instead of posting a meme. I would suggest everyone who reads this does the same too.

    5. I am hoping there’s some strategy I can’t see at this point bc WTF?!?!

With those election results it showed Dems have momentum, and even the GOP seemed to understand they were in trouble. The Dems had more leverage than they have in a long time.

So what did they do? They literally flushed it all down the toilet. Unless there’s something they’ve got going on behind the scenes (which I HIGHLY doubt) they just surrendered all of the power they had.

I changed my affiliation to unaffiliated last night. Been meaning to do it for a while now, and finally decided to make it official.

    6. The only thing that makes me feel even remotely better about this is that Mike Johnson is now officially out of excuses for swearing Grijava. Time’s up on the Epstein Files

    7. If anything this should add fuel to the fire of the election wins. Go out and primary old guard democrats in 6 months.

    8. The only solution is to vote for the type of Democrat, of which there are roughly 40 in the Senate, who will not cave to these wankers. Honestly, the fact that we will have to continue rehashing this conversation will probably keep it in people’s minds the next time they go to vote, which is probably a good thing in the scope of the 2026 elections.

Maybe not so good for people about to lose their insurance. No one’s fault but Republicans for making it an issue in the first place.
