What a gut punch, I’ve never seen these before.

Sadness just “out-feeling’d” the anxiety of “Sunday scaries”. Goddamn.

James Taylor was there when Belushi OD’d. Made him get clean. At least something good came of this tragedy.

    3. Easy to see how loved he was by how sad everyone seems. I have strict instructions for everyone to get hammered and if anything sad gets mentioned or anyone cries you get kicked out of the party.

      My wake: The long drank

    4. Only the good die young, but better to burn out than fade away? I recently read Akroyd had some serious health issues too .

    5. Belushi, Candy, Williams and Farley. Three comedians that left us way too early. Miss all those guys terribly.

I remember watching a documentary and Dan Aykroyd saying after he learned of Beluishi’s death, running to Beluishi’s apartment to tell Beluishi’s wife before the press could. Horrible that he had to worry about that, knowing his friend had died, but glad he thought about her in that moment.

    7. Part of a forever classic National lampoon’s animal house, Well a classic for us old folks 🤣

    8. I watched an interesting Youtube video where Jim Belushi was describing an Ayahuasca trip he was on where he me tions John Belushi.

      It made me tear up.

I got say, every time I see video or pictures of this funeral, I can feel the weight and depression in everybody’s expressions.

Looks like they had no choice.

    10. If you ever forget that Dan Ackroyd is Canadian, that 2nd picture is identical to every picture of a man in Canada taken during the 1980’s.
