As far as I’m concerned, this is a prime example of why the right to bear arms does not work anymore the way it was written. Our forefathers never envisioned anyone having little 30 round murder machines that fit in the palm of your hand or rifles that could single handedly take out a whole unit of the military they had back then, let alone think that we would use these weapons against our own children and ignore the emergence of a tyranical government.

Unless you’re asking someone else (who you are trying to mock) to do something you’re too scared to? I mean, I’ve been hearing for years on reddit about how “The left owns guns too, we just don’t make it our whole personality”. Why don’t the gun owners on the left do anything? They’re the ones who actually see this as tyrannical behavior. At least the gun owners on the right are able to say “That’s not tyranny, of course we won’t do anything.” The left is saying “That’s definitely tyranny, but we won’t do anything still.”

America, please explain this to me… It seems like the point of owning a gun in the US is to stand up against a government trying to take your gun away from you. But if you didn’t have a gun for them to take, they’d not be taking it, so you didn’t need it.
