    1. As someone who lives in Europe I must admit that Kirk’s murder was all over the local news but there was nothing about another double murder and I got to know about it just because another Redditor specifically pointed it out: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_shootings_of_Minnesota_legislators

      >The two victims were members of the Democratic Party-affiliated DFL. Federal charging documents described Boelter as acting with “the intent to kill, injure, harass, and intimidate Minnesota legislators”. Governor Tim Walz called the shooting “an act of targeted political violence”.[5][6] Inside Boelter’s vehicle was a list of nearly 70 people, including abortion rights advocates, Democratic politicians, and abortion providers.[7][8][9][10]

What I want to say is that any murder is awful doesn’t matter the political view but Kirk is definetely made as a perfect martyr that helps to sell the far right ideology even more.

I’m going to assume “ideologically motivated homicides” are different than “terrorist attacks”, since I’m pretty sure 9/11 was ideologically motivated and it killed nearly 3000 people.

    3. Weird that they want to group radical Islamists with the far left (and it’s still less than normal RW violence) when their whole thing is being far far far right, except for brown people.

    4. These are all root symptoms of a fascist political party that has taken root for some time now.
