There are articles of impeachment in the House, and both Republicans and Democrats have been responsible for killing them, clogging the floor with bullshit, and distracting people with nonsensical argumentation.

The process is not so simple, to get millions of people to awaken to the same conclusion.

Oh, I got this one. Half the country wants this to happen, and the police and military (traditionally being conservative) support most of it too. The US is not a great place

    3. The military works for the government, not the people.

      Donald Trump runs the government.

So the military works for Trump.

It should have happened. Someone should have said, I am a General in the branch of service, i have faithfully defended the constitution from all enemies, and these are traitors to our nation. I woukd have hoped that someone had thought, ” they are ending my career, over my skin color” and stood up for himself by saying ” what about me and anyone who is unheard?” What person, would have not risen to join them?
They could have figured it out.

It is treason, the military should, but half of them are hog headed fascists as well.

    6. The militarily has no ability to do this. There is no mechanism in which the military can remove an elected politician.

The solution is not the military.

It’s an impeachment. A real impeachment with Senate conviction.

      But the reality is:

      1) We re-elected him, legally.
      2) Impeachment needs the Senate conviction. That seems unlikely.

If both one and two are true, he is still the legal president.

I am so fucking frustrated by that. I just want him to get what he is owed, and to feel somesort of relief after a decade of this shit. I know we’re desperate but I promise you, a military coop would be worse.

Alternatively, State national guard is the well regulated militia the Constitution laid out would be an appropriate response to tyranny. But not the military. State militia, led by elected governors.

Oh because the “don’t tread on me” people that lied their entire lives about resisting tyranny finally found tyranny but they like the flavor of it.

    9. Because the Supreme Court decided that he is exempt from obeying laws and his congressional henchmen will protect him no matter what he does. In other words, the people best placed to stop him won’t do it.

    10. Yes. Republicans in Congress are spineless. Oh, and power hungry, even if it is trump scraps that are as filthy as the man.

    11. Because we are finding out in real time that checks and balances only work if the ones in charge don’t want the same thing.

Now hear me out. What if we protest, but we openly and sarcastically support fascism? I 💙 ICE, Keep the Epstein files secret, more fascism please, etc.

I don’t think any American wants to write that history book that a military coup was a necessary step in its sovereignty.

    14. I saw someone on social media who claims to have some insight with the upper military leadership say that they’re all are trying to figure out where their red line is right about now.
