Now is the time to break MAGA. They are at the height of their delusion – they are at such an extreme that they are now actively defending pedophiles and pretending what the Oversight Committee is doing is a viable second option to Massie’s discharge petition while in fact what they’ve produced so far is 90% redacted and mostly the parts they’ve already released in the past.

There is only one reason they continue to play this game, and that is because they are trying to protect powerful people in their party. FFS, the White House threatened all Republicans that it would be considered a “hostile act” if they voted yes on Massie’s petition (and Lord knows what was said to some of them when it wasn’t being recorded).

There is no legitimate reason to protect anyone in the files besides victims, and it is clear that the best chance we have of getting the unredacted information is for the Massie petition to pass.

They only need 2 more Republicans to sign it. Like it or not, this includes public pressure where these Republicans and their supporters are more active, and this includes social media like X and Truth Social. FFS, the splintering of social media has only allowed these right-wing delusions to get worse and further destroy our society, so these spaces like it or not need a more orchestrated campaign to un-brainwash the people who use it.

I can’t think of any other time besides now where the iron is the hottest. If we don’t absolutely capitalize on this, then we will only get more aggressive gerrymandering and blatant presidential SuperPAC primarying of Republicans who don’t toe the line.

If Massie’s petition is signed, I see this as the point where we can finally get a crack in MAGA before it destroys all of us.
