The only real thing we are debating with abortion rights, is when we think the foetus becomes life. If someone decides a heartbeat is that point, then they are not going to advocate for what they believe is murder of a child regardless of the circumstances surrounding conception or otherwise. It’s not the Baby’s fault that the mother is young or has been 🍇 ed or has a medical condition. We don’t murder rapists, so the idea of murdering a baby because of a rapist doesn’t really add up for these sorts of people.
The only way we can get them to see sense is to ultimately get them on board with the idea that a foetus and a baby are not the same thing. It’s a shame we can’t all agree on a definitive point in which the foetus becomes genuine life that should be afforded rights. Or simply convince these hardcore pro-lifers to at least see viable exceptions especially when it’s medical reasons, like why potentially kill both because and abortion is illegal? Absolutely stupid.
