What would be truly equitable would be alzheiners. Reagan was at least decent enough to his wife and friends that when he had to deal with alzheiners for 10 years, he had a support network.
Trump surrounds himself with greedy sharks that feed of his personal power. He loses that, he loses everything. In fact, Trump is so obssessed with his personal supremacy, he won’t even have the “take matters into your own hands” option due to personal denial.

My guess is he’s had a stroke and could only be photographed from far away. He’s too incapacitated to be in front of reporters. They’re probably hoping he’ll get well enough to be propped up in front on some reporters eventually, but he’s old, so hopefully he’ll just continue to decline. That won’t stop his administration from playing President behind the scenes.
