I wonder what happens when the illusion that “rich people” are somehow better than other people, just because they have money?
It’s how classism and manufactured racism works against all of our common good.
For all the power wielded by the wealthy, the world would be much better if the wealthy were half as good at anything else as they are at making themselves richer by making the world worse for everyone else.
We live in a society where the willingness to burn everything else down in pursuit or service of wealth is the most materially rewarded trait by far.
