      Funny how “weak minds” gets projected onto the people pointing out authoritarian behavior, while the guy actually making the dictatorial moves gets painted as strong. History shows the real weakness isn’t speaking up too softly, it’s a political system so captured by corporate money and fear of backlash that leaders tiptoe around calling tyranny what it is. That’s not “weak minds” that’s a rigged incentive structure.

      The real “meeting of weak minds” is Congress pretending word choice is the problem, when in reality the unwillingness to act on corruption, guns, climate, or authoritarian power grabs is what keeps this country stuck. Word games are easy. Courage is rare.

      This is a joke at democrats expense that I agree with, which is rare for this sub.

      wtf else do you expect them to be able to do here? say the same thing, but more vigorously? making polite complaints is basically a politician’s entire job.
