Just saw this golden plaque of Napoleon at Golestan Palace in Tehran, which Napoleon himself gifted to the Qajar king Fath-Ali Shah in 1807. [1956×1674]

On the plaque, it says:
“NAPOLEON EMP. ET ROI”
This is an abbreviation of French words:
NAPOLEON – the name of Napoleon Bonaparte.
EMP. stands for Empereur, which means Emperor.
ET ROI means and King.
So together, it says “Napoleon, Emperor and King.”
